Adjacent to the picturesque old market of Ortigia and the former Post Office building, in via G.Perno 7, we find the restaurant Ancora, which with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, serves Mediterranean cuisine as well as excellent dishes based on fish, shellfish and seafood.
The restaurant consists of three rooms and has a capacity of about 90 seats, while the wide veranda, a local gem, has a capacity of about 60 seats.
The Patron Giancarlo Russo recommends passionately, for over a decade, delicious appetisers and delicious dishes such as spaghetti with sea urchins, while the latter, made, for the most part, with fresh local fish of the day, are prepared according to the taste of the customers.
Excellent and rich is the wine list, which allows you to satisfy the palate, even for the most demanding and expert taster.
