The Hotel San Biagio Resort used to be a convent belonging to the order of friars minor.
Founded in 1550 and rebuilt after the earthquake, the peaceful Franciscan convent contained a magnificent cloister encircled by white columns and a vast lovely garden.
Today the convent has been wisely restored becoming a magnificent Hotel, though it retains its ancient appeal. Our resort is located in the middle of the historic centre amid a beautiful park, just a block from the Duomo and paces away from plenty of bars and shops.
An elegant roof garden overlooking the Ionic sea is a nice spot to relax in. The landscape continues with the amazing view of the Ionian See and the Etna volcano.
