The casa della Giara is located in Giarre, a little town on the slopes of Etna, about 128m above sea level, close to the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian coast. The well known Etna Park, with its ski and hiking trails, is only a few kilometres away. The house is in a strategic location, 1.4 km from the highway exit (Giarre), in a scenic and peaceful residential area, a few paces away from the historic centre of the city, with convenient parking , always available. A few metres away, there is the children’s playground ‘Chico Mendez’, well-equipped, with a bar/pizzeria and venue of frequent cultural events.
The apartment is spacious, sunny, and located on the ground floor and completely renovated (early 2015) in traditional Sicilian style: the materials used, all environmentally friendly, are stone, clay, the finest handmade pottery (Caltagirone, Santo Stefano di Camastra), wood.
Each room has a large balcony dedicated; There is also a large patio with a ceramic table for outdoor dining.
Inside you will find an interesting literary path , which, inspired by the name of the house, offers some striking and significant passages of Pirandello, to whom are inspired certain furniture items, all creating a unique and engaging atmosphere.
