Casa Migliaca is a 200-year-old limestone farmhouse exuding charm and character. Gently restored to preserve the atmosphere of the ancient farm without compromising its beauty.
As you enter to the right you’ll find the kitchen – a charming room that blends the old and the new. On the first floor you’ll get the feeling that time has stopped. The entrance is characterised by a number of airy corridors with plastered-cane vaulted ceilings (falsi dammusi) that lead to two other rooms – the yellow room and the living room. Two openings right and left lead to small rooms with a vaulted roof and a small window, these were the original bathrooms of the house.
The living room is bright and the floor is decorated with tiles from Santo Stefano di Camastra vintage ceramics. The walls and vault have the original plaster and still show the old prints. The balcony is veiled with woven hemp and linen hand made curtains.
Casa Migliaca offers eight rooms, three on the first floor and five on the ground floor. All rooms retain the original features giving them a rustic feel. The only real architectural change were the addition of the bathrooms in each of the bedrooms designed to be in keeping with the original building.
