Holiday venue Tenuta Margitello is located on the hills of the Iblei mountains, surrounded by the countryside of Ragusa, amongst characteristic stone walls and centuries-old carob, almond and olive trees.
Located in a dominant position in the small town of Comiso and a few kilometers from the baroque UNESCO Heritage sites of the province of Ragusa, Tenuta Margitello is the ideal place to relax in nature and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside without being far from population centers.
From the large panoramic terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking landscape that stretches from the Mediterranean Sea to the hills of central Sicily, all the way to Mount Etna.
The complex is made up of two areas c.500m apart. In the main building there is the restaurant, 4 bedrooms and a large panoramic terrace. In the garden below there is the swimming pool with a solarium and a playground for children. In the annex, about 500m away, there are 14 bedrooms where you can enjoy more quiet and privacy.
The rediscovery of ancient Ragusan and Sicilian flavors is characteristic of the dishes prepared in our restaurant. In addition to breakfast, guests can sample the delicious dinners (prepared with homemade products) such as grilled meats, cheese and ricotta from our own cattle farms, the oil is obtained from the pressing of olives harvested in the estate, the oranges of our citrus grove.
