The farm Ponte Due Archi is located in the wonderful green hills of the Nebrodi, surrounded by forests of oak, chestnut and hazel and rich with wild mushrooms. The farm buildings were built in the 1930’s and have been lovingly restored to be in keeping with the original structure. The rooms have been furnished in “poor art”, and are equipped with heating and en-suites. There are 2 rooms available for disabled guests. The farm has parking and the restaurant seats 55 people that situated inside the main building.
The kitchen recreates traditional homemade flavored dishes using local produce.
The farm extends to over 25 hectares and overlooks the beautiful village of Raccuja. Located 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches and just a few kilometres from Tindari with views of the Aeolian Islands. You can easily get to Mount Etna and in the winter months you can ski in Taormina, the Alcantara Gorge and many other wonderful places.
Summer through to autumn the farm produces strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and various kinds of vegetables, watered by the natural spring. Through the winter beautiful mushrooms and basilisk are grown to produce wonderful traditional Sicilian dishes. The farm also specialises in the cultivation of hazelnuts, chestnuts and breeding of farm animals.
