Fontanelle is an agricultural land of ancient tradition. It is located in Sicily, in the province of Messina, on the hills of San Filippo del Mela and faces the Aeolian Islands.
The farmhouse ‘Fontanelle’ offers recently-renovated rooms in an ancient and traditional environment, evocative of the history of the region.
These rooms were originally part of a nineteenth-century rural hamlet, originally consisting of a main house, farm buildings and stables. This group of buildings includes the old mill for processing olives with an adjoining storage space for jars, and an old millstone used par processing of uvee the pressing of the must.
At the Fontanelle there are three houses for guests:
House One – 3 beds in a large open space with a sleeping area, living area with TV and Wi-Fi, kitchen, bathroom (with shower) and a furnished porch which is accessed via the yard.
House Two – 4 beds in two double rooms, living room TV and Wi-Fi which opens onto the courtyard, kitchen, bathroom (with shower) suitable for the disabled and a furnished porch which is accessed from the yard.
House Three – 3 beds in an open space divided into sleeping and living areas with TV and Wi-Fi, kitchen, bathroom (with shower) and a terrace.
We created the restaurant of Fontanelle, our fast-food restaurant with a hundred sitting places, the local in the exceptional “Frantoio”.
