Baglio Spano was the summer residence of the noble family Montalto Spano, and dates back to the eighteenth century. It stands at the center of a manor estate of some 600 hectares, which even today, in the respect for tradition, is a vineyard.
It is accessed by a private road extending through the countryside and leading to a prestigious entrance, surrounded by high walls.
Just passed the entrance what is striking is the large courtyard, separated by a portal, divided into two manor houses. There are a number of rural warehouses that were once used for the collection and processing of the grapes.
The part of the building dedicated to reception is set on two floors. On the ground floor are the cellars that were once used for processing grapes according to traditional methods. Breakfast is served with local products.
At Baglio Spano you can enjoy relaxing wines and dishes. Also breakfast is served in the cellars, where guests can see of the the citrus groves, especially in April that gives off a sweet scent of orange blossoms.
On the first floor is a large Art Nouveau-style hall ending in a balcony from which you can enjoy fabulous views of the sea. On this level are the bedrooms which are fully autonomous. Our guests will enjoy a wonderful holiday here, having a peaceful everyday life punctuated only by the rhythm of nature or by taking advantage of all the amenities of a hotel that is able to give them a quality service.
