Thanks to its location, not far from the entrance of the Messina-Palermo motorway, it is also a good starting point for interesting excursions in the vicinity: the baroque country of Bagheria, the monuments of Palermo and Cefalu, Erice, Segesta, Trapani, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Taormina, Mount Etna, and the most important goals of the wonderful land of Sicily.

And Porticello, a small town known for its fish market and the traditionall local cuisine; the village of St. Elias boasts panoramic views of the Gulf of Goose Neck and on the waters of Capo Zafferano.
