The Torre dei Federico is part of the ‘Palazz0 Conte Federico’. It is a medieval palace, with an ancient XII century Arab-Norman tower, and was built upon the first, ancient Punic walls. The family of Conti Federico who have always been the only owners of the palace, come from Frederick of Antioch, one of the sons of the Great Emperor Frederick II. Today, the family still runs these refined and tastefully furnished apartments. They maintain the tradition and the charm of an artistic and cultural period of the past. The palace is in the city centre, only a short walk from the Cathedral, the Royal Palace and the Arab Market, Ballarò.
