B&B Porta della Sicilia

The Porta della Sicilia is a new Bed and Breakfast strategically located in the centre of Messina, known in ancient times as ‘Zancle’ or “Door of Sicily”, from which our B&B takes its name.
Renovated and opened in 2014, it features 4 spacious rooms (single – double – triple), a breakfast room, a kitchen and a large private parking area with video surveillance.
The B&B is a short walk from Viale Boccetta, which is also the access road for motorists coming from the A20 and A18 motorways. It is therefore the first place that visitors see in the city whether they come for leisure or on business. It’s perfectly positioned to reach the boarding point to the Aeolian Islands (2 km), Caronte Ferries (2 km), as well as the train and bus stations (2 km). Downtown Messina is 1.4 km away, the Palacultura is only 400 meters away and it is close to universities, hospitals (Villa Salus is 150 meters, Cristo Re), and theatres such as the Vittorio Emanuele (1.1 km) and Teatro Annibale di Francia (2.3 km).
Pleasing colours and the linear architectural design are what first strikes the visitor.
