The Bed and Breakfast “Padalino” is a structure rated to 3 stars that takes its name from the owner. It is located in the heart of Sicily, in the municipality of Mussomeli (CL), about 800 metres above sea level. This town is inhabited by about 11,000 people.
It is 125 km from Palermo and 151 km from Catania.
The City of Mussomeli is located in the centre of Sicily, and this position allows you to reach the major centres such as Agrigento (The Valley of the Temples), Enna, Piazza Armerina, Palermo and Catania. The main features of the place are the small urban centres, such as Sutera, Villalba, Acquaviva Platani, which in summer organises festivals and events, and is consistent with the ancient Sicilian tradition.
Moreover, Mussomeli, offers a rich and comprehensive historical culture, with the famous Mussomeli Castle (the festival takes place every year on the 1st and 2nd of September), its numerous churches, of which the main church of Our Lady of Miracles (the festival takes place on September 8th of each year) and in the city centre.
The Bed and Breakfast “Padalino” was born in 2003 after the owners, Rita and Savior, decided to renovate their home and to turn part of it into a B&B.
The apartment, completely dedicated as a Bed and Breakfast, consists of 4 rooms with possibility to quadruple, triple, double and single for a total of 11 beds. The rooms are furnished in the same style but each has a special feature that characterises it. The upstairs is entirely inhabited by the family of Rita and Salvatore, who remain at your disposal for any need.
Each room has a private bathroom, hair dryer, towels, TV, heating, and private parking.
Breakfast will be served in the same area, in a large kitchen with living room. For those who wish, during the summer, there is the opportunity to have breakfast on the veranda, allowing our guests to enjoy the typical products of the season sitting comfortably, enjoying all the charm of the green and nature!
What characterises our B&B is its prime location; In fact, the rooms are all facing towards truly fascinating views: on one side the old town of Mussomeli and other Mount San Paolino (Sutera). This allows our guests to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, but at the same time to remain around the city.
The B&B is open all year and our guests can book their stay by contacting us by phone or through the website. They can reach the park throughout the day.
This, being outside of the consolidated circuits of conventional tourism, allows the enhancement of the geographical area where it is located and helps promote a new form of knowledge of the area, more direct and attentive to environmental protection.
