Symbolically uniting the two volcanic lands of Sicily and Japan, the garden reflects many of the ideals of Nake- respect and love for nature, peace and harmony in all things- and imbues guests with a sense of well-being.
The house’s logo originates in the Japanese ideogram for “tree” due to its setting next to a place where in past centuries scholars and artists came from all over to study and contemplate the beauty of an ancient tree: the Chestnut of the Hundred Horses.
Furnished in wood, lava stone, terracotta, wrought iron, the characteristic materials of eastern Sicily, Nake provides the perfect environment in which to take your thoughts, soul and emotions on a natural journey through history, art and science.
