The innovative style and panache of our B&B await you on the first floor of a large building erected in the 1960s. It looks out onto a picturesque view of the Straits, set in the historic seaside village of “Ringo”, created after the period of urbanisation around the walls of Messina during the 16th century. Le Case Pinte (The Painted Houses), which used to host the Viceroys before their official entry into Messina, is set here, among the modest dwellings of anglers and artisans and more gentrified holiday homes.
The residence boasts a strategic position, 100 meters from the boarding point of Tourist and Caronte ferries, a short walk from the bus and tram stops connecting the coast to the city centre (1 km) and the train station (1,5 km); it is 1 km from the motorway and the boarding point of the hydrofoils to the Aeolian Islands, and 20 minutes from Taormina and Milazzo. From here, one can easily reach the Expo centre and the Regional Museum of Messina (nearby) which houses paintings and sculptures from the 12th to the 18th century, by artists of the likes of Antonello da Messina and Michelangelo Merisi, better known as Caravaggio. For those who love the sea, wildlife, jogging and walking on the beach, this is the perfect place to enjoy the enchanting scenery of the Messina Straits.
