The B&B La Terrazza sul Mare boasts a a garden with palm and coconut trees, a lawn, all the Mediterranean colours of Sicily, black and wine d’avola where you can eat a hearty breakfast with jam made from oranges and organic lemons.
Set in Avola, La Terrazza sul Mare is a charming and unique place, whose keywords are the sea, harmony, nature and well-being. On waking you can take breakfast on a terrace overlooking the sea and the land of Montalbano. Our beautiful lawn with its exotic palm trees is an undeniably charming setting. In order to create a unique atmosphere, we have planted the garden with Washingtonia palms, Cycas, and Robellinie, Strelitzia Reginae Strelitzia Augusta with their heavenly flowers, fragrant magnolia, Chamaerops humilis and Chamaerops excelsia, dragon trees, Agave, a collection of plants, roses, coconut trees, and edging of Pitosforo hedge with its fragrant white flowers, and bananas. All this green in contrast and in harmony with the blue color of the sea provides guests overlooking the terrace with a delightful view. The B&B does not prepare simple breakfasts but offers all guests a varied sweet and savoury breakfast.
The B&B uses locally-sourced products, many of them organic. For example, most popular among our guests are the jams, cakes Grazia, almond granita and lemon and almond milk prepared by the expert hands of Paul according to an authentic traditional recipe.
