The B&B is located on the second floor of a building erected after the 1693 earthquake that destroyed the entire Val di Noto. The ancient building has always belonged to our family and has been completely refurbished. It is adorned with antique floors and vaulted, decorated ceilings that make our B & B a little charmer.
Small Boutique Hotel : The Giardino di Pietra offers three themed bedrooms, deliberately different, so that you may have the pleasure of being surrounded by original vintage furniture, art nouveau and 19th century objects of art.
The rooms are equipped with all amenities and have balconies and terraces with a magnificent view of the surrounding valley, the Duomo di San Giorgio, stairways and narrow streets that lead to the historic centre of Ragusa Superiore.
Slow Holiday. Enjoy Sicily at the right pace: you sleep on comfortable mattresses and enjoy the calm and silence of the narrow streets, enjoy a nice relaxing shower, have breakfast tasting jams, biscuits and cakes, all typical products of the province of Ragusa. And during breakfast, admire the spectacular landscape from our terrace, the old town of Ragusa, the stairway that climbs up the hill and churches perched on the rock. Why Giardino di Pietra (Stone Garden). Our Bed & Breakfast owes its name to the ruins of the building that collapsed in the earthquake. Its columns and statues in pitch stone and limestone from the Iblei Mauntains date back to the 1600s and depict lions, eagles, griffins, horses, flowers and pomegranates, all composing an enchanting little “Garden of Stone”.
