Located in the Politeama district, one of the most elegant in Palermo, the B&B is on the third floor of a building with a view over Piazza Ruggero Settimo, commonly known as Piazza Politeama due to the presence of Politeama Garibaldi theatre. The fully renovated area reserved for guests is completely independent to ensure privacy. All rooms are equipped with en-suite bathroom with large shower, free Wi-Fi, central heating, air conditioning, mini-bar, 28″ LED-TV and automated windows shutters. Extra B&B also has two triple rooms which can, on request, become a single independent apartment.
Breakfast is served in a large dining room near the kitchen.
The location of the B&B allows guests to easily explore the historic side of Palermo. You can walk to the most beautiful monuments, museums and renowned historical markets (Vucciria, Ballarò, Il Capo…). A few steps away are Via Principe di Belmonte, a pedestrian area, which the Palermitani have dubbed “the parlour of Palermo”, and Piazza Verdi, home of the magnificent Teatro Massimo. This is the largest opera house in Italy and the third largest in Europe.
The B&B is also just a few meters from the bus stop for airport shuttles from and to Palermo and Trapani airports, from the entrance to the touristic harbour, the City Sightseeing bus stop and the taxi stand.
From Piazza Politeama, buses depart to Mondello, Sferracavallo and Monreale.
