The estate occupies about 120 hectares of four villages on the “Costa di Tramontana” (Castell’Umberto, Naso, Tortorici and Floresta) and, besides its high-quality extra virgin oil, it produces citrus fruit, nuts, fruit and vegetables on the hilly farms and also potatoes and cheese (canestrato, provole, salted sun-dried ricotta) in the former fiefdom Abbadessa at 1,400 mt. above sea level on the splendid range of the Nebrodi Mountains.
The farming is organic, and follow in the family cultural tradition.
On the several farms there are rural buildings restored in order to provide our guests with rural hospitality.
Depending on the season, you can watch the collection or processing of various produce: for example, the pressing of the olives, the harvest of hazelnuts, preparation and bottling of tomato sauce and cheesemaking accordance with techniques handed down for centuries.
Di Antiche Case Coloniche has been completely renovated and furnished with all modern comforts, located in the various estates among the farms and majestic green citrus and olive trees. Every house has road access, electricity, gas and water supply, is furnished and provides linen. Rooms range between two and eight beds, with fitted kitchen, fridge, TV and fireplace or wood stove.
