A corner of paradise, a dream, a small terrace on a tiny cove, situated away from the usual sightseeing tours, set in a paradise bathed by the beautiful waters of the Ionian Sea. The restaurant, Trattoria Il Barcaiolo, (The Boatman), looks like a cut out vintage postcard: the sea, the fishing boats, tables, and a cane roof and climbing vine. Yet we are in a place among the most famous in the world: Taormina, Mazzaro beach.
Housed in the old boat houses of the fishermen, this restaurant is all open air (there are very few indoor tables) on a terrace overlooking the sea overlooking the Bay of Mazzaro.
The restaurant, Trattoria Il Barcaiolo finds its natural, simple, but more than ever sought Sicilian cuisine.
Trattoria Il Barcaiolo is located directly on the beach Mazzaro. You can reach Taormina by using: the cable car from Taormina: it is located about 200 metres from The trattoria. Leaving the cable car is a car park and near that an underpass, crossing it you will notice the signs ‘Trattoria Il Barcaiolo’.
By car: coming from the highway ME-CT, continue towards Taormina Mare-Mazzaro then taking the SS114 state road after about 3km you will find the parking lot near the cable car.

For Lunch: from 12.00 to 15.00
For Dinner: from 19.00 to 22.00
