The restaurant Il Cinghiale is the brain child of Luigi and Marco, eager to learn and discover the goodness of the meat of this wild animal, through the realization of excellent delicacies, both in the restaurant and in the pizzeria.
Our restaurant was born out of passion in the nineties, eager to replenish the fauna of our Sicily, this species and race “Hungarian” and “Maremma”. Raised outdoors in oak forests, the animals have adapted reaching very high numbers. In the following years through food demonstrations to taste the products, excellent results were gained and the recognition by the Regional Board as “wild boar breeding for food production in the municipality of Palazzolo Acreide”.
