Poggio Normanno was opened in 1995. The idea, of the Greek founder, Onofrio Greco, was to create a charming place, perfect to celebrate the most important events: weddings, christenings, confirmations, graduations and communions.
The particular geographical location (the reception room is situated on a hill) and its proximity to the small artistic centre of Monreale (famous for the numerous works in Norman style) have suggested the name and can evoke, immediately, an image of a precise place.
Onofrio Greco, is also the founder of a furniture company, ‘Greco Furniture’ Via Circonvallazione, 38 in Monreale.
