Osteria Rosso di Vino opened in Taormina on June 14th of 2012 in Vico Spuches, in a small square in the historic centre immediately next to the arch of Porta Catania. A street lit by candles is always the way in which we accompany our clients up to our small inn and once you arrive you just have to admire the historic structure of the building that Duke of Santo Stefano built between the late 1300’s and early 1400’s that dominates the landscape.
Run by four young enthusiasts of Sicilian food and wine, and with the help of a great cook we were able to bring to the table above all the simplicity and freshness of our products that Sicily has to offer.
The selected research carried out throughout the years by the many small wine producers that surround us, more than 180 labels, all available by the glass only, is perhaps one of the reasons that made us popular in addition to the fact that we only serve fish caught locally.
Every day on the table, immersed in a friendly family atmosphere, is what we are known for as well as an ever-changing menu, revised on the basis of what is fresh every night at the fish market. In this way the customer keeps coming back several times a week to sample something new, prepared with care and respect for the product.
We aim to provide genuine flavours and delicate aromas.
We are Osteria Rosso di Vino, four guys with the desire to put smiles on people’s faces and provide emotions that last, quality and professionalism, respect for our Earth, work and sacrifice, simplicity, imagination and creativity.
