The pizzeria Alla Vecchia Fontana, owned by Salvatore Coglitori, was born in Aci Trezza in 2013. Thanks to the experience of the family in the restaurant business, the grandfather became one of the first restaurateurs in the town of Malavoglia after having been a simple waiter, managing the “Trattoria Centrale” and before in Piazza Giovanni Verga in 1960, and later, with his children, the Restaurant Pizzeria “Vera Napoli” in Via Provinciale in 1970.
And today his grandson, wanted to continue the tradition, innovating the classic pizzeria for takeaway and accompanying it with the first and only “Sicillianeria”.
The Sicilian, is the traditional “fried calzone” typical of Etna villages, proposed in its original recipe (cheese, anchovy and pepper) and giving the possibility of being able to customise with other condiments according to the most different tastes.
