This caves preserve a fascinating ancient village of the 19th century which hosted lots of people during the II World War. The name Mangiapane derives from the last family who used to live there from the 1800’s until the 1950’s.

Nowadays it offers an open-air anthropological museum where visitors can understand how life could have been in Italy during their golden days.

  • Hello I will be in sicily from 22 to 26 up near Trapani, please will the cave be open during that time, and if so, what time does it open and how much is the price for Adults, kid 9 years old and one 17 years old and senior citizens. Thank You.
